How It Works
Selection of Pastors
Pastors eligible to receive livestock grants will be carefully selected by the accountability committee based on their dedication to ministry, financial need, and potential for successful livestock farming. Pastors will need to apply for the grant, submitting a written proposal outlining their plans for sustainable livestock farming.

Initial Distribution
Pastors will receive a set number of laying hens and a rooster as their initial livestock stock. These animals will form the foundation of their livestock farming endeavor. Or if goats are appropriate 4 does and 1 buck

Monitoring and Support
The project team will provide ongoing support, including regular check-ins, veterinary assistance, and guidance on best practices in livestock farming.

Training
Selected pastors will undergo comprehensive training in livestock husbandry and veterinary care. This training will equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure the health and productivity of their livestock farms.

Breeding and Reproduction
Pastors will be encouraged to breed their livestock and, in the following year, pass on livestock equivalent to original provision to other pastors or congregants
in need. This "pay it forward" approach ensures the project's sustainability and expands its
impact.

The Empowered by Livestock, Guided by Faith project embodies a holistic and sustainable approach to supporting African pastors. By providing livestock, training, and a mechanism for pastors to help one another, this initiative aims to strengthen the spiritual and economic well-being of pastors and their communities while fostering a culture of self-sufficiency and generosity within the ministry. In addition, and ultimately, the goal is to further the Kingdom of God on earth through witnessing and church planting.
